Jut Diploma 3rd & 5th, sem exam promotion notice
The VC in-charge at JUT held a meeting with the principal in the Polytechnic Colleges in virtual mode, in which it was agreed to promote the Polytechnic Third and Fifth Semester to the next semester without examination. For this, according to the guidelines of UGC and AICTE, the marks obtained in the inter examination will be made the basis.

Under Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), the third and fifth-semester students in engineering and polytechnic colleges will be promoted to the next semester. This decision was taken in a meeting held on Saturday with the Director/Principal of Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges under the University along with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vijay Pandey. After taking the opinion of the students and the college administration, in view of the corona, the university administration has decided to promote these students on the basis of the rules of the Supreme Court and AICTE. At the same time, the examination of the fourth and sixth semester will be offline as per the rules. It was told in the meeting that classes were taken online, but students living in remote areas suffered a lot due to lack of better internet service, in this situation only students can be promoted this time. The final approval on the decision taken in the meeting will be taken in the academic council meeting of the university on February 17. The Vice-Chancellor in charge will preside over the meeting. It was also decided that after the decision of the Council, it would also be included in the academic calendar. University's examination controller Prof. Savita Nayak, Pramod Kumar, etc. were also present in the meeting.
